Thanks, Reed. I'm still reading the Carson biography. Anne Applebaum, much like Delilah Lithwick, Jennifer Taub and the invaluable Jane Meyer, is a must. Also, Olbermann's podcast.
When I was a child, Samuel Adams was my favorite figure in Revolutionary times. Thank you for bringing the book to my attention. I just read the first chapter and know this will bring 2025 great reading!. Thank you
Thanks for the reading list. My library card is at work this morning. Starting with Mehdi Hasan's "Win Every Argument". I do need to work on preparing so I can win every argument. Sense I do like thrilling yarns I am also going for Charles Frazier's "The Trackers". At present I am just finishing up the Canadian author Louise Penny's newest, "The Grey Wolf". Discovered her years ago before the world had discovered her and the wonderful character Armand Gamache. "The Grey Wolf" is #18 in the series. These are good mysteries that have a lot to say about thought and behavior and friendship. If you haven't read her, you may want to go back to her first in the series, "Still Life."

Great to see Travels with Charlie on the list. I read this decades ago and is the one book I would like to reread. Maybe this is the year to do that.
Great recommendations Reed, thanks. First stop for my Xmas money - Mehdi Hasan.
Particularly like the Rushdie. I am a big fan.
That is such a stunning photograph. TY.👽🤘
