The podcast on Exurbia Now was quite interesting. It really did describe the situation I have been experiencing over the last 40 years. However, I am not sure if I am living in exurbia or rural America. But what I have noticed is that folks do want the community to be a good place. When I first moved here there was lots of community action. Now the doers are sort of "ageing out" and not many replacements stepping up. The younger folks seem to want a good community, but they sort of enjoy other people doing the work and planning. Or are so busy they don't have time to be involved. Since the pandemic, quite a few do want to just be at home in their own little world. (Sad, I think) As to 'rural rage' there is our share of "trump flags" and American flags on rusty to sparkling pick-up trucks zipping around the highways and by-ways. Seems it is more "look at me folks" rather than rage, but I have a pretty good idea how they would vote. After the 2020 election I saw a huge sign on a local back-alley garage in our village that said, "Don't Blame Me, I Voted for Trump." I wanted to place my own sign under it saying, "Blame Me." I enjoyed listening to your podcast. These last to hit home. Made just want to share my wandering thoughts. Thanks, Reed.

Is there any truth to Judge Aileen Cannon's husband having worked for ex New York mobster John Rosatti?

Rosatti currently lives in Florida and is Trump's lifelong friend and current donor.

And would that mean Cannon should have recused herself from the case?

I've not asked anyone else because I don't have a way to fact check this, but maybe someone should?

Thanks.
