Right on Reed. Let’s also highlight Kari Lake calling for the enforcement of the 1800s law repeatedly while campaigning for Governor, and now running away from it. Deplorable is a word but that’s reserved for Republicans generally. Kari Lake deserves another monicker. I’ll go with despicable for now.

Yep the GOP do own it.

However, idk if it’ll make any difference. Will Texas with its abhorrent abortion laws flip blue?

Will Florida hit 60% approval for abortion rights? Those are tall orders. I’m from Ohio and we also had legalized weed on the ballot as well as restoring Roe and still only hit 58% approval.

Until the large states flip solidly blue, I wouldn’t yet celebrate. We may still be decades away from victory.

So well written, Reed. This essay should be spread far and wide.

Well said as always, Reed. Loved your humor. Liked the picture of the judges, although it is sort of an insult to elephants. All I will add is that the wisdom of Solomon was clearly absent in that court. Actually, there was no wisdom of any kind present.

"And thank God for it" was a great last sentence. If you believe in the guy in the sky, he just reset to sanity.

I think it’s way too early to engage in this kind of triumphalism.
