People should ignore legacy media who tolerantly indulge the rantings of Trump/MAGA (GOP) politicians, obediently repeat Trump's spin, but immediately and pompously deride Democratic politicians who speak up for democracy.

Legacy media us beyond saving...they will be the last to notice.

When Biden does speak about the dangers of MAGA, we must amplify his words.

People must realize that Hitler never broke 40% of voters...he won because of lackluster turnout, and a widespread denial that his manifesto would ever be enacted.

Project 2025 is the GOP manifesto. Republicans on and off SCOTUS will be happy to let Trump enact wide retribution, as long as they can carve up the US for money and power via Project 2025.

Not one Republican, local, state or federal, will protect you from the spiral of devastation. Read Susan Collins' sledgehammer to the rule of law if you doubt this.

Outstanding Reed! DITTO!

Donald's demand that every one of the 147 Objectors keep covering his ass is getting more and more expensive for each of them.

The Dems and responsible Rs are biding their time. But they should be strategically HAMMERING every MAGA politician and candidate. Force them to repeat, over and over, Donald's insane lies and pledge their allegiance to him. Reality will eventually dawn on them. Donald is Lonesome Rhodes.

And they better be wary of Roger Stone's Dirty Tricks Factory (aligned with Putin's propaganda machine). The flood of tricks has begun.

Remember back in 2016 when Trumpy said Hillary could be indicted and be convicted?

Good times.

and recall what Trump said in 2016 about how bad an idea it would be to have someone under investigation or under threat of conviction as a candidate (talking of course about Hillary...) - his words should be repeated ad nauseam now (of course all of Trump's words inspire nausea from the first time one hears them, but you know what I mean...)

“Your voters and donors are waiting around for someone with a “D” behind their name to take brass knuckles to this guy.”

Hell yeah we have, and we’ve just found out that someone was Alvin Bragg.

As George Conway continues to remind us, malignant narcissists are fragile; full of rage and barely holding it together. The goal is to get Trump to show his “full crazy.” While this sadly appeals to many of the hard core MAGA folks, the more reasonable, sane ones may finally walk away.

The first person or people to know that trump could or would be found guilty was DJT and those who formulated the deception of repaying Michael Cohen as attorney or legal fees. The 12 jurors only reaffirmed what TFG and cohorts already knew!

Could you get an email to the top Dem influencers to push this strategy? Coordinated and consistent everyday, would be great. I will suggest to Harry Sissin and others

This edition of Decency and Sense references an incumbent state representative in Colorado. The phenomenon is of course prevalent among Republican office holders at all levels of government across the country.

A brief excerpt appears below the link. Click through for the damning case.

*****This past Friday, a jury convicted the 45th president of having falsified business records as part of a scheme just before the 2016 election to prevent the revelation of an alleged 2006 sexual encounter with a porn star. That night, the current representative of Colorado House District 39 registered her objection to the verdict by changing her official Facebook profile picture to an inverted United States flag – the sign of distress that some of the January 6 insurrectionists carried as they rallied outside the Capitol and assaulted police to gain unlawful entry. After a Facebook user commented enthusiasm for her adoption of the symbol, she replied with an image that stated, “I am more MAGA now than ever.”

This response is puzzling. Over the last several years the civil and criminal justice systems have made abundantly clear what a loathsome individual the 45th president is. His felony conviction is only the latest official legal marker of his turpitude.

Consider some recent developments.

[...]

I am confident that the decent and sensible people in House District 39 who oppose the 45th president outnumber those who, for whatever reasons, thirst for his restoration. Perhaps someday – perhaps in retrospect – the current representative of House District 39 will reconsider her own position.*****

Every time I see a Trump ad on YouTube, I pledge $5 to democratic causes. Every time I see a Ted Cruz ad, I pledge $5 to his opponent!

There is a big piece missing here....there are three other pending trials, and voters need to demand resolution before the election. How does America properly choose and vote on a recently convicted candidate with more trials coming? It's a perversion of the system. Forcing us to vote without this information...

We've seen this before, where magas assert that whatever we do increases trump's electability. They were wrong then, and they're wrong again. I've even heard non-trump pundits implying it on my favorite pods, with no pushback whatsoever from the hosts of the discussion.
