But just one note on Pelosi and I’m not a big fan of hers but Pelosi changed course following intense public and bipartisan pressure in early 2022, she opened the door to such a ban. Proposed legislation, such as the "PELOSI Act" (introduced in 2023-2025), aims to prohibit lawmakers and spouses from trading individual stocks.
