Btw Walmart gets govt subsidies as well .. crazy. Great article. A really good follow up to what Sirota is saying and so many others. The Technocrats need a choke collar and now.
The more I learn about this AI movement the more I feel like we are entering a world of scary sci-fi reality. Does a world of "Hal" await us? An AI like "Hal" saying to us and even its inventors: "Sorry I can't let you do that." What is interesting concerning those that write sci-fi, they often get really close to what is coming in the future. Thank you, Reed. You point this all out quite clearly. Take care.
Doesn't big AI companies ( Altman et al). relying on Government as the Insuror of last resort... sound a little bit like .... socialism? Oh wait... socialism is for the "people", and if the government is for the rich billionaire movers and shakers, ending jobs.. it's an oligarchy. What was I thinking?
Shutdown, SNAP, and discharge petition update: This relates directly to the discharge petition and needs to be amplified -- If you can help, you could make a difference.
On Dec. 2, Tennessee has an election in a R>20 district for Congress.
If the R wins (apparently advocates for T 3rd term), and Johnson waits until after that to call the House back, he can negate Grijalva's vote if any other R backs out.
That district is nationally significant for the Epstein files. I hope everyone spreads the word about the importance of every single vote. Thanks for all you do!
Just on the subject of the AI bubble bursting, it sounds plausible. However, I believe it would be followed by a period of "thriving of the fittest", much like what happened after the "dot-com bubble" burst around the year 2000. Those that survived and thrived after that bubble burst have done very well. The bubble bursting like that will weed out the less robust ideas and players - harsh, unfortunately.

Yeah, one of our overlords models along with 1984 .
Thank you Reed. Real scary uncertain times. Keeping the faith.
