I doubt any Republican would vote a Democrat as speaker. Best outcome is to nominate one of the Problem Solvers as Speaker and have Democrats support them. They will suffer to have Democrat support, but it one way to save the country.
There are no Republicans who truly can or will do what you say. To think Patrick McHenry, for example, would do this is purely delusional. He is of the Maga persuasion, as are others. Personally I see no one in the Republican camp who can stand up to the pressure.
