Beautiful, heartfelt & ‘right on’, speech. Three minutes of impact. Bravo.

Reed--I wish I had been way down yonder to hear your words live. Words that are always heartfelt and true. The Photos say it as well. I had two favorites. The No Kings Dogs: Sit, Stay, Resist! and the Frog. Folks are just so clever. Our rally packed a village green with 1000 happy people of all ages, as well as dogs, a Frog and a Cow. Unfortunately, no chocolate chip cookies. Again, loved your words and smile. Smiles make everyone smile. Thanks for all your hard work. Take care.

Dear Fellow Grandparents,

Saturday was a historic day—and you were a vital part of it. 🕊️

On October 18, 2025, the No Kings Protests swept across America:

Millions of Americans in more than 2,700 events in all 50 states stood together for democracy.

Estimates range from 5.2 million to 8.2 million participants.

The crowds were peaceful, determined and diverse—families, retirees (that’s you!), veterans and young people alike.

This community action was organized in part by freedom‑loving groups like Indivisible with support from civil liberties allies.

🇺🇸 Why Your Presence Matters

As grandparents, you carry both memory and hope—you have seen what happens when voices are silenced and rights are diminished.

You remind all generations that free speech and the ability to peacefully assemble are cornerstones of our democracy.

You help show that protest isn’t radical—it is beautifully American. We don’t bow to kings. We stand under the flag.

📰 Recognizing Independent Media Who Walk the Talk

We’re joining a mission to spread truth, to amplify independent voices who dig deep, keep watch, and shine light. Some of these allies include:

MeidasTouch – A pro‑democracy media network reaching millions, focusing on accountability and activism.

Steve Schmidt – Veteran strategist turned truth‑seeker, calling for principled leadership and rejecting authoritarian drift.

The Bulwark – A center‑right platform offering serious analysis and a strong stand for democracy, not party tyranny.

By supporting these voices—and by sharing their insights with friends, family, grandchildren—we multiply the impact of our march.

🛡️ Let’s Raise This Call Loud to Our Families

Tell your grandchildren: “I was part of this march.” Show them that elders engage.

Share credible links and say: “Here are the facts behind the crowds.”

Remind your children: “We didn’t let fear stop us. We stood at the side of freedom.”

Encourage newcomers: “You belong in this story. Your voice matters in the march for truth.”

❤️ Closing Words

Fellow grandparents, you didn’t sit this one out. You answered the call. You stood for the generations behind and ahead of us. You declared with your footsteps: we are the majority, and we will not be silenced.

Keep this fire alive. Talk about it around your kitchen table, at church, at bingo night, at the family dinner. Let your presence ripple into voices, conversations, and change.

With full heart and unwavering hope,

American Grandma

People should travel internationally more to see that people are people no matter where and we all want what’s best for our children. If/when you do, remember that you are an ambassador for our country. You might be the only American the people over there ever meet, so strive to be nice and leave a good impression behind.
